    Another revolution in progress; treatments for human beauty. Stamped for too long as “metrosexual” or gay-macho-compatible, here male treatments are thriving.
    Think deco, chic, English Gentlemen’s Club – Carasoin opened a year ago and the male clientele is diverse; rockers, celebs, office executives, emergency room doctors … “They demand speed, visibility and immediate results with discretion,” says Lena Bratschi, its co-creator. “Some of our clients work extremely hard and have high levels of stress. Bags under the eyes and dark circles are their sworn enemies, “says Lena. The bestseller for these issues at Carasoin? “The lift no-scalpel”, for 275 dollars, this treatment combines an oxygen infusion facial plus a cutting edge device that uses electrical pulsed frequencies for “deep facial toning and lifting” says Lena.

    The same policy goes for their product ranges, one being the upscale Swiss brand Luzern Laboratories (no sulfates or parabens here), which appeals equally to Carasoin’s male clientele as it does their female regulars. “Men are willing to pay the same money for a jar of preferred cream or moisturizer, just like women,” notes Tom Rann of Carasoin.
